Mike:
Mike’s team continues to impress. While his pitching this week wasn’t elite (still good! Just not great.) his offense was enough to give him sizable leads in the categories that matter. The road ahead may become tougher but mikes team seems ready for the challenge.
Dan:
I survived this week. Vinson in his credit had an absolutely bonkers week offensively with Nimmo, Betts, Polanco all producing. Merrill, Lewis and Marte are all coming back and I can’t wait. Also, is Robbie Ray actually good? Find out next week!
James:
So I am actually happy for James beating up on Pat. James needed a big win to reassert himself and this was a great showing on all fronts. Does his team need help? Yeah, but wins are wins at the end of the team.
Mark:
So yeah. It’s tough losing to the top dog but an off week from mark can be expected once in a blue moon. He’ll bounce back well enough. I will say I’m curious on what you are you doing with Yanier Diaz. The rents due soon on that Catcher spot.
Richard:
You beat Brooke! And Fantrax!
I’m proud of how you pivoted so far this year but you’re in for some tough sledding here soon. I hope your team can weather the storm.
Heller:
Good win! Man Gleyber Torres has been great. Same with Kerry Carpenter. I really hope Peralta/imanaga aren’t out long term because that would just be plain awful. They have been great so that would be a brutal loss. I wish you luck going against Vinson
Ian:
Ian, have you ever thought that 100 Kyle Tuckers still couldn’t beat up 1 Elly De La Cruz? But in other news, the fact Austin Riley is jiving and the braves are on the up and up is promising. Will you please drop Alvarado?
Patrick:
Pat you did lose 1-11 as I’m typing this. Accept your stream or die ways and know that the house always wins
Joey:
Joey I actually like your team on offense. Your lineup can be killer if you made the proper roster moves to adjust for injury. Your pitching has good pieces and Yamamoto alone is worth a lot this upcoming trade deadline.
Jon:
Losing back to back weeks isn’t a good look. Luis Robert coming alive is a good sign but you also lost Sal Frelick which crippled you for now, which typing out is a crazy thing to say in 2025 and Sal is a bum. What’s going on with Bowden Francis? Is he really the best pitcher you can get?
Brooke:
I’m happy Emmanuel clase is maybe coming around.
Vinson:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You counted your chickens before they hatched and now look at you. SCOREBOARD ASSHOLE SEND ME THE GOODS.
Offensive Player Of The Week:
Brandon Nimmo: 5/19, 4 Runs, 2 HR, 10 RBI, .984 OPS
Pitcher of the Week:
J.P. Sears: 12 IP, 9K, 2.25 ERA, .750 WHIP, 9/0 K/BB
